Seamless Tracking &amp; Tracing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>full transparency in all phases of the asset lifecycle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>automated event detection and quicker responses to critical events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Smart Transactions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>instantaneous verification and fraud protection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>automatized payments; reduced transaction efforts\/costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>#CB is enabled by state-of-the-art technologies that are integrated in an easy-to-use, peer-to-peer platform that is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>modular, easy-to-integrate tracking devices (advanced sensors)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wireless communication (IoT-networking, 5G)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>complex event detection (advanced analytics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>automated, trackable and irreversible transactions, e.g. pay-by-use (Smart Contracts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>advanced encryption (Blockchain)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>#CB aims to overcome current limitations of existing supply chain solutions, especially for SMEs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>limited transparency along the asset lifecycle (e.g. OEM has no information about the clients of its distributors) -&gt; entire lifecycle more transparent and better manageable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>potential to integrate advanced analytics not exploited -&gt; predictive supply chain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>potential to enable new business models not exploited -&gt; pay-by-use + proactive delivery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>poor acceptance due to complexity and high integration effort of current systems -&gt; plug&amp;play, ultra-low infrastructure req.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>#CB is tested and validated with relevant industrial stakeholders to set new guidelines for worldwide implementation of trustworthy monitoring and auditing processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Developing an easy-to-use, peer-to-peer platform for smart monitoring, transactions and auditing of critical assets.
