This culture, symbolized by the image of excellence of Swiss Made, gives rise to products created at the heart of watchmaking and medtech manufacturers, and is also found in the means of production designed by machine-tool and automation companies. And this image of excellence is an integral part of the IT solutions developed and applied to all the value chains present in the Jura Arc, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Haute Ecole Arc Ing\u00e9nierie is the university of applied sciences of the cantons of Neuch\u00e2tel, Bern and Jura, with a main campus located in the city of Neuch\u00e2tel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switzerland and the Jura Arc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since 2011, Switzerland has been ranked as the world’s most innovative country. And the Jura Arc is the most industrialized region in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neuch\u00e2tel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inaugurated in 2011, the Arc Campus is located next to the railway station in the city of Neuch\u00e2tel. The city itself lies on the north-western shore of the lake of the same name at the foot of the Jura mountain range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 45,000 inhabitants, Neuch\u00e2tel is the third largest city in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and it is home to a large student population which attend not only the Haute Ecole Arc but also the University of Neuch\u00e2tel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This offers a wide range of sports activities<\/a>, also open to students of the Arc School of Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arc School of Engineering<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Arc School of Engineering has its roots in the watchmaking schools created in the 1860s in the towns of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Le Locle and Saint-Imier. It emerged in 2004 from the merger of the School of Engineering of the Canton of Neuch\u00e2tel and the School of Engineering of Saint-Imier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With approximately 400 students, the Arc School of Engineering is an engineering school that places great emphasis on human relations and the development of skills through practical projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teachers know your name and provide personalized support throughout your program. A three-week preparatory science module is offered before classes begin to help you fill any gaps in your math or physics knowledge. Then, throughout your first year, teachers are available two periods a week to support you in learning these subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
