Scholarships

Bachelor Degree courses at UAS are affordable. However, students can benefit from financial aid from their canton of residence, if the application is deemed admissible.

Cost of the course

During the admission process, each student must pay the registration fee and the study fee. They must also take the necessary steps to take out the required insurances defined by the Confederation (illness, accident, civil liability).

  • The registration fee is CHF 150 (one-off, non-refundable fee). The payment of the registration fee is compulsory to validate the registration to a training course.
  • The study fee is CHF 500 per semester.
  • Some courses may require a contribution to study costs (teaching materials, workshop equipment, etc.).

Regardless of the canton in which they live, all students can apply for public financial support for their education. Various types of grants, allowances and loans (non-refundable, repayable in instalments, exemptions, allowances, etc.) are available.

The conditions for obtaining these subsidies vary according to the personal situation of each student. Each student should therefore contact the national or cantonal organisations directly. Due to the lenghty procedures, it is advisable to start the process quickly.

Mobility

The Haute Ecole Arc has a mobility office which supports students who wish to spend a semester or an internship abroad. However, foreign students are also welcome to study at the Haute Ecole Arc. All information is available on the mobility servicepage.
