About Us

The Arc School of Engineering was born from the merger of the engineering schools of the canton of Neuchâtel and that of the city of Saint-Imier (canton Bern). These schools, created at the end of the 19th century, emerged in the wake of the development of the watchmaking industry in the Jura Arc.

From watchmaking to biomedical technologies and machine tools, the regional industry is evolving continuously and rapidly, while remaining faithful to the same values that created its well-known worldwide success: quality, precision and innovation.
