Bachelor in Industrial Design Engineering

The Industrial Design Engineering program is unique in Switzerland and educates engineers in the design of efficient and sustainable products and production equipment.

An important part of the training is devoted to design. Whether it is a consumer product or a production equipment to make these products, the future user is placed at the center of your efficient design process.

Ergonomics and Design Major

As an Ergonomics and Design Engineer, you look for opportunities for innovation and identify market expectations, in order to anticipate how products will evolve.

In various industries, you will work effectively with research and development, marketing, and after-sales service departments to ensure a development based on user experience.

Mechanical System Design Major

As a Mechanical System Design Engineer, you seek out opportunities for innovation and address technological challenges through a proven methodological approach.

You rely on solid scientific and technical skills to master the tools that allow you to characterize, calculate, simulate and predict the performance of manufacturing technologies.

Breakdown of subjects

Ergonomics and Design

You learn to design, develop and optimize products with a user experience (UX) approach and by integrating digital and sustainable solutions.

Mechanical System Design

You learn to design and optimize production equipment, particularly in the areas of machine tools, assembly and control, while constantly searching for efficiency.
