Ergonomics and Design Major

As an Ergonomics and Design Engineer, you look for opportunities for innovation and identify market expectations, in order to anticipate how products will evolve.

In various industries, you will work effectively with research and development, marketing, and after-sales service departments to ensure a development based on user experience.

Mechanical System Design Major

As a Mechanical System Design Engineer, you seek out opportunities for innovation and address technological challenges through a proven methodological approach.

You rely on solid scientific and technical skills to master the tools that allow you to characterize, calculate, simulate and predict the performance of manufacturing technologies.

Ergonomics and Design

You learn to design, develop and optimize products with a user experience (UX) approach and by integrating digital and sustainable solutions.

Mechanical System Design

You learn to design and optimize production equipment, particularly in the areas of machine tools, assembly and control, while constantly searching for efficiency.

Duration and Organization of Studies

The Bachelor’s degree program lasts for three years on a full-time basis (including the Bachelor’s thesis), with a common core in the first year and a separation by major from the second year onwards.

31 May (Swiss and EU residents) – thereafter, admission is possible depending on the number of places available

The Industrial Design Engineering program is in close relationship with the professional world, guaranteeing employability as a product or production equipment designer. It typically leads to project manager positions.

This Bachelor’s degree allows you to work in companies active in the fields of precision production equipments, watchmaking, medtech and in service companies associated with these fields.

After completing this Bachelor’s program, you can also enrol in a Master’s program.
