The Haute école de gestion Arc/ The University of Applied Sciences (HEG Arc) is one of the domains of the Haute Ecole Arc.

Founded in 1982, the HEG Arc has been growing steadily ever since and continues to attract many students.

Education

Today, the HEG Arc/The University of Applied Sciences has nearly 1800 students who are studying a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree or further education courses in various fields of expertise: Business Law, Business Management, Information Technology, Economic Crime Investigation and Cybercrime, Leadership, Experiential Marketing, Eurasian Markets, Supply Chain, Blockchain and Public Management.

The three main courses of study offered by the HEG Arc/The University of Applied Sciences are the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Law, the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Technology.

These courses can be taken full-time or in employment (respectively part-time), at the Neuchâtel and Delémont sites.

The HEG Arc/ The University of Applied Sciences offers several courses leading to a MAS (Master’s Degree of Advanced Studies, min. 60 ECTS) or an EMBA (Executive Master’s Degree of Business Administration, min. 60 ECTS).

Further education is intended for people who wish to continue their professional development by deepening their knowledge in a particular field of study or who wish to acquire new knowledge in other fields.

The HEG Arc/ The University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of certification courses (CAS – Certificate of Advanced Studies, min. 10 ECTS) and training courses open to a broad public.

Student Services

Ideally located in the immediate vicinity of the train station with its campuses in Neuchâtel and Delémont, the HE Arc/The University of Applied Sciences provides its students with all the services they need to follow their course in optimal conditions

Applied Research & Development

In the area of Applied Research and Development and Services (aR&D), the HEG Arc/The University of Applied Sciences is open and available for mandates for private companies, public authorities and non-profit organisations to find solutions adapted to their needs.

HE Arc’s/The University of Applied Sciences’ aR&D department has key resources and competences in four areas :

Organisation

The three decision-making bodies of the HEG Arc/The University of Applied Sciences are the Management Board, the Education Committee and the aR&D Committee.

The HEG Arc/The University of Applied Sciences Board is the coordinating and decision-making body of the HEG Arc for matters falling within its competence.

Under the responsibility of the executive director, who manages, among other things, the budget and the objectives of the HEG Arc/The University Applied Sciences, local HR issues, as well as the organisation of studies.

The Board is also responsible for applying and enforcing the various regulations of the HE- Arc and the HES-SO in the management field.

The Management Board is composed of the Executive Director, his deputy, the head of aR&D, the deans of the various faculty programmes, the site managers and the executive assistant to the management.
