Partner universities

The HEG Arc has developed long-term partnerships with several universities. Its strategy focuses on four geographic areas: Switzerland, Europe, French-speaking countries and Eurasian countries.

Agreements with about thirty partner universities include bilateral student exchange, faculty exchange and applied research collaboration.

Outgoing students

The HEG Arc gives its students the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters at one of its partner universities.

The International Office manages the application procedure and supports candidates in obtaining a visa, a mobility grant and accommodation. Additional information is available on the web page of the International Office and in our brochure.

The deadline for applications is March 31 for the Fall semester and October 7 for the Spring semester. For some destinations, other deadlines are specified in our brochure.

If the application is accepted, a Learning Agreement will be established with HEG Arc’s mobility team.

Information sessions take place every semester. During these, the mobility team will be happy to answer questions.

Incoming students

The HEG Arc welcomes incoming students from its partner universities for one or two exchange semesters in one of its Bachelor programmes (Business Administration, Business Law or Business Information Technology).

The Bachelor programmes are taught almost exclusively in French. Therefore, a good command of French (level B2) is required for an exchange semester. As an alternative, international students may apply to our Master in Business Administration, Major Business in Eurasia, which is taught entirely in English.

Candidates to an exchange semester must be nominated by their home institution. Following this, they will receive a link to our online application form. Several documents are required to complete the form (CV, cover letter, passport copy, etc.).

The International Office manages the application procedure and supports candidates in obtaining a visa, a mobility grant, accommodation and mandatory insurance. Additional information is available on the web page of the International Office and in our Fact Sheet.

The deadline for nominations is March 31 for the Fall semester and October 7 for the Spring semester.

If the application is accepted, a Learning Agreement will be established with HEG Arc’s mobility team. After the exchange, the incoming student will receive a Transcript of Records mentioning the amount of ECTS credits obtained.

The HEG Arc also welcomes trainees from its partner universities. The traineeship is carried out in one of its research institutes, under the supervision of a professor.

Dual degrees

Dual degree programmes go further than a classical exchange semester: they allow students to receive a Bachelor degree from two institutions, opening up new career opportunities both in Switzerland and abroad.

The HEG Arc currently offers two programmes of this kind: a dual degree in Business Administration with Bern University of Applied Sciences, and a dual degree in Business Information Technology with Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki.

Courses at the HEG Arc are delivered in French. For further information, please contact our mobility team.
