The Jura Arc

The towns of Neuchâtel, Delémont, St-Imier, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle all have their own specific assets, for example close to the lake or the mountains. They offer a very pleasant living and study environment, as well as, a rich and varied social life.

Administrative procedures

When signing a rental agreement, be aware of the termination deadlines, subletting and the rental guarantees requested. Be particularly careful of offers that are too tempting before paying a deposit. A visit to the premises is highly recommended.

In any case, find out about the conditions for taking out household and/or third-party insurance.

When you move to a new canton or a new commune, you must register with the residents’ registration office.
