Microscopie Raman

Raman spectroscopy is a technique typically used to study vibrational modes of molecules, providing a structural fingerprint by which molecules can be identified.

This non-destructive technique can be employed to investigate artworks and heritage artefacts directly in situ.

With a high-performance portable system, we offer a non-invasive way to identify the chemical composition of heritage materials, understand the degradation processes occurring and evaluate the performances of conservation treatments.

This portable microscope is equipped with 532 and 785 nm laser probes and a motorized x-y-z stage. This setting allows an accurate sample positioning and imaging, that is suitable for measuring large or fixed objects with rough surfaces.
