Embedded-Computing Systems

We apply our skills to make measurement and control systems stand-alone, to improve the efficiency of industrial processes and to develop intelligent medical systems.

Skills

Embedded computing systems are autonomous, often real-time, task-specific and resource-constrained. They rely on hardware, software, signal processing and communication.

Architectural design and hardware development based on microcontrollers and/or programmable logic.

Programming of embedded computer systems integrating either microcontrollers or Systems-on-Chip (SoC) with real-time operating systems or bare-metal microcontrollers.

Integrating wireless communication technologies and focused on security and reliability.

Porting and adaptation of signal processing algorithms on embedded systems for applications such as sound and/or image processing.
