The UX-Lab is a user testing laboratory that evaluates and designs the usability and user experience of a product.
The benefits of User Centered Design are now well established. Many projects involve users throughout the design process, for more intuitive, productive, safe and attractive products.
Objectives
The UX-Lab must allow to evaluate and design the usability and the user experience (UX) of a physical or digital product, by observing how users interact with it.
This testing phase, often iterative, is essential to validate the relevance of a product before it is put on the market. Validation is based on qualitative data from individual interviews with users, and on quantitative data, measured using the UX-Lab’s state-of-the-art equipment.
Skills
The UX-Lab consists of an isophonic observation room, with one-way glass, and a test room, equipped with motorized cameras and microphones, allowing the implementation of various usage scenarios.
The UX-Lab has equipment in the areas of eyetracking (eye tracking), virtual reality and biometric sensors.
